My question is, is there some convention for how you fold the flaps? I think there were some others I've seen that had different answers for different folding directions.

It seems like both A and B are possible depending on which way you fold the flaps- if you fold them out of the paper toward yourself, B is correct, but if you fold the flaps into the paper, A looks correct.

Crack PAT says A is correct.

From my understanding, what you see are the external surfaces. So in order for B to work, the unfolded paper would have to be showing the internal surfaces and be folded towards you. Is it just me or do the folded objects look terribly inconsistent with the unfolded paper? The sides almost look rectangular, whereas the unfolded sides are clearly trapezoid?

Thanks guys. That would explain a few mistakes! Always fold into the paper... Ok!

Yea I noticed the shape problem too, but thought I was imagining things.
