I was wondering if elementary statistics and applied statistics are the same? I am currently taking elementary but one of my schools I really want to attend says applied statistics is required.

I would check with that individual school to verify if the stat class from your school is acceptable. This is the only certain way. Remember to keep the email response as a reference.

Sometimes they will ask for a course description from your school's catalog.
