are we responsible to know limiting reagent for GC of DAT?
chad didn't cover it in his videos and while I do know the concept, I'm just worried that Chad might not cover some of other basics of OC when i start it soon. I did terrible in Ochem in school 🙁

Well the limiting reagent is a pretty important concept so I would recommend knowing, plus they could give you a problem that may not directly ask what the limiting reagent is but may require you to figure it out before you can calculate the percent yield in an equation

yes I know what limiting reagent is.
I'm was asking because Chad didn't cover it in his videos and as you have said it is a pretty imporant concept.
I'm just worried if Chad skipped other important stuff as well that I am not aware of in both GC and OC

I don't think he went over it in a lot of detail. He just calculated moles of product from the 2 reagents in a reaction and said the one that produced least product was the limiting reagent....I don't know how much else you would need to know about it really.

Yeah, I remember that he did mention it but I can't seem to find it in my notes. Do you remember what chapter?🙄
