Are "W's" really bad?

I got a "W" during my undergraduate career due to a registration error that somehow enrolled me into a theatre class. Halfway through the semester I found out and tried to fix it but the school admins told me I will have to take a "W". I never "retook" the class because I had no interest in it. How bad will this look on my application?

You're perfectly fine. They only become an issue when you have quite a few of them.

The general consensus is that 1 or 2 are usually fine. Any more than that then it could be seen as an issue.

If they took the place of a potential D or F, you're in better shape with your current W's. Miles better shape
