man I'm so annoyed I'm scoring an average of 65% on IV Q bank and 55% on Qbank.... my exam is in June.... I think I'm going to fail 🙁

just in case misery loves company, i'm right there with you. also taking it in june. early june, actually.
did a quick 20 questions last night and scored a whopping 25%! OMG! but it was only 20 questions and lots of pharm that i haven't worked on yet. still....

plus, i don't have any idea where to find time to study on top of class work.

aaaarrrrggghhhh! 🙂

consider that more than %90 of the students (from States) pass the exam. I dont remember but I read that it was about %7 who fails. In normal condition there's a %5 error in normal distribution (and USMLE is a standartized test btw). So, only %2 of the students from States actually "really" fail. Those %5 are either too unlucky or there are other reasons like traffic jam, stressfull night before the exam, girlfriend etc that effect their examination performance. So failing wouldn't be an option

When you say from the states do you mean US med schools or IMG's that are US citizens with those US students.
Thanks

What's the difference between "IV Qbank and Qbank?" Kaplan gives the following info:

<55% on Qbank = possible failure
55-60% = likely low pass
60-65% = likely pass
65-70% = likely beat the mean
>70% = likely high score

So you're not in too bad of shape, especially with over 2 months until your exam! Many in my class haven't even started doing Qbank yet.

Unofficially it's said that %93 of US med students pass the exam while %65 of IMG passes

Unofficially your test is in JUNE. you'll be fine. try to relax; if you're this stressed now how will you feel when you're in my shoes, just a few weeks away from the real thing. you are doing fine on QBank. you are good to go.
