I'm going to an interview in October at ASDOH and I was just wondering if anyone could give me a few tips or some advice on what to be prepared for. I've heard the interview is very "different," so any advice would be helpful.

Thanks!

I don't want to spoil the surprise that is their interview, but I will tell you to know yourself, what inspires you, and some general geography....and a few NY Times headlines wouldn't hurt as well. 👍

Awesome man. I'm going there on Oct. 10th in the afternoon. When in Oct. are you going?

The Dr. that was the head of the admissions/interview committee is no longer in that position. I don't know how this will change the process, but the interviews will no longer be the same.

Is 2-ply still there? I toured the school over the summer when my brother got married down there and met with Phillip. Cool guy and I really liked the campus. I'm pretty excited for this interview. Arizona is in my top 3 schools for sure.

Thanks for the tips! I think they helped a lot... I feel confident and I think it went well.

last year it was helpful to know the capitals of Canada and Somalia, info on conflicts around the world (Middle East), etc.

look up last years threads on arizona, lots of good info there.

would anyone happen to know the questions for this year?

No idea who you are referring to...sorry!

I was referring to Phillip Scharff (sp?). When I interviewed, it was actually his last week there. He told me in the summer that 2-ply was his nickname becuase he was telling people how great the school was and that is even had 2-ply toilet paper! So that's how the name stuck on him.
