I have heard about the 4th year rotations at Arizona. Do you go to community health centers all over the US? Are their certain areas of the country you can go or can you go anywhere? Other than community health centers and public health clinics is there anywhere else you can do the rotations at? Thanks.

i'm pretty sure that 4th year rotations are set up by the students themselves and can be to pretty much anywhere, in the usa or world wide. it has to be approved, of course. supposedly it is pretty flexible, but i could be wrong.

Bwyeth is correct. You can rotate anywhere you wish, including your home state or area of interest. That includes hospitals, private practice, trauma centers, VA hospitals, rural areas, traveling clinics, etc. All can be domestic or abroad.

How are the rotations set up? Do you just call anywhere and tell them you want to do a rotation or does the school have a list of places that want students to rotate there? Thanks.
