Hey I was wondering if anyone who applies to Arizona...gets an invite for the secondary applications?...or do they pre-screen.....and then send you the invitation?

I got a secondary via e-mail. In their secondary they ask you to write 2 small essays, include community service information and ask you to send them a check. I believe they send everyone who applies secondaries and then have you send them $$, then they look at your app and invite you or reject you afterwards... but I'm not sure though. I don't think I heard of peole getting rejections before turning in their secondaries, however, I may be wrong.

I was wondering the same thing. But considering i got the email the day after my application was recived by them, i am more inclined to conclude that they send that email to everyone. Collecting Application Fees is a great way to make money.

Arizona sent me a secondary too. I wouldn't have been so excited about it if I knew they sent it to everyone. Hmmm....well I guess it's just part of the application game. I just feel lucky that not every school charges an application fee right up front.

I partially take back what I said above. According to their website, only those who meet their min requirements (2.5 GPA and ?? DAT) are invited to submit the secondary. So everyone gets the secondary unless their GPA was below 2.5.
