I'm a new member, thanks for taking a look at my post.
A few questions:
1- I am in the Army National and was part of the Operation Noble Eagle for a year (homeland defense). I am a dental assistant now for the National Guard. I will only have 95 credits by next fall (applying without my degree), but am applying now. Will my army experience help even out my odds? (taking dat in AUG)
2- Do you know any particular schools that "like" veterans?

THANKS AGAIN

I posted this question a few months ago and came up with nothing. I emailed a few of the schools and asked if they gave preferance to vets and got only one word responses....no. I think there are a few med schools that will give minority status to vets. It may be worth looking into some of the southern schools they may tend to look higly on mil. service. I don't know what your situation is but I think you have to be activated for a minimum amount of time before you can get vet status if you are in the guard.
