arthroscopy?

No it is not done by a physiatrist unless they are specifically trained in it. Ortho is better in this respect.
 
Dear Araj:

We are all 'Physicians and Surgeons' according to our licenses. There are some out there who think they are Surgeons when they are not. They probably 'LEGALLY' can do arthroscopy, but probably do not have appropriate liability or hospital privileges to do it. There may also be some previous special training that we may not be aware of that the doctor may have done (i.e. Surgical residency, etc.).
