There is a great article in the April NAPPP newsletter which talks about how professional schools are tuition-driven and flooding the field of clinical psychology ("Why Clnical Psychology Needs to Be Reframed, Renewed and Resored") Just for the record, I don't necessarily support the ideas in the article but being the PsyD is a big topic on here, thought that this may be of interest

Not sure where to find the article you are talking about (and I'm not eager to sign up for a newsletter in order to do so), but I started reading one of their position papers and was pretty grossed out in just the first few pages by both the blatantly sexist assumptions and the bad science invoked. Whoever is writing them needs a serious lesson about correlation is not causation for starters. If that's indicative of the quality of the rest of their work, I'll pass...
