First of all, sorry for my English, my native tongue is different. The following scheme uses insufficient information about one occasionally-committed crime and its description & explanation is amateurish and very imprecise. It deals with a hidden strike on human brain.
1. Some components of brain tissue are getting a lower amount of blood. Perhaps the flow of blood in some of the smallest very little brain vessels is reduced. However, cerebral arteries and all the bigger brain vessels looks like having a sufficient amount of blood.
2. Some small components of brain tissue, pictured as very little points, cease to work (neurons?). The damage perhaps starts in the low or medium part of brain tissue and it gradually continues upwards.
3. CT as well as MR can give negative results, although the damage is purely physical.
4. Some of side effects can be a gradual increase of weight, higher blood pressure (also empty sella?), heart arrhythmia and similarly. Also a lower tolerance toward alcohol and anti-psychotic drugs.
5. The damage gives the affected various psychotic thoughts like to jump out of window, to stick themselves with a knife, to stick a finger into the eye, to feel anxiety, to be afraid of own hands, to express less controlled emotions from desire of love to aggression, problems to distinguish reality from imaginations up to hallucinations, obsession by demons and similarly.
The damage is reached by inhalation of detrimental things (perhaps the alternation of formaldehyde, harmful gases and drugs). The way how it is made includes many diverse means (pouring the stuff on stovepipes, poisoned cigarettes, puffing out from cars or tubes connected to a gas cylinder when the victim is near and similarly).
By routine, this crime uses to be accompanied by no physical finds, because the investigations of urine, blood and of the things that were said to detrimentally influence the victim is cheated to result in no finds. And then everything ends in an asylum, which is the primary goal of the entire action, on which medical and police laboratories in exceptional cases participate, too.
My main question is if there are officially known impacts on human brain that physically damage its micro-components, evoke symptoms looking like a psychical illness and at the same time their physical consequences cannot be seen on CT or MR?
