I have in state residency for Nebraska outside of UNMC are there any other midwest schools that give Nebraska residents the same preference as an in state resident? Like UMKC?

A good place to look is on the MSAR USA map (scroll way down to the bottom to see which states they have admitted students from).
It's probably going to be the nearby midwestern states, but actually not UMKC because they accept the vast majority of their class from students who attended their BS/MD combined program. Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois have several med schools each.
U Minnesota favors in-state strongly and so do the lone state schools in ND and SD.
Also apply to Creighton. Consider yourself like any other AMCAS applicant who has to consider a wide range of schools that fit their GPA/MCAT scores and interests in area of medicine. Private (not state-supported) schools are less likely to favor a particular state.

To the annoyance of some people on SDN, I've been staring at the data for 20 years and I've seen no evidence that any med school, other than U of Nebraska, prefers Nebraska residents. Just under 80% of last year's class at U of Nebraska were Nebraska residents. It's pretty obvious that Creighton does not give Nebraska residents any preference. Only 4% of the 23-24 Creighton class were Nebraska residents. That's crazy.

Based on the fact that the average MCAT score among matriculants, who were Nebraska residents, was 511.6 and the national average was 511.7, your state of residence is basically a neutral factor.

You should know that about 60% of med students go to medical school in their home state. That is true year after year. I understand that Omaha is a very underrated city. Nice people, good restaurants, college world series etc.

Correct about Creighton, but on the other hand a lot of OOS folks end up choosing some other school because they think Omaha will be a boring town.
There are so few in-state applicants to U Nebraska that they interview almost all of them. Get to know what the school is looking for well and be ready to talk about it at your interview.

UNMC is the only school that favors Nebraska residents. Another commenter is correct in that Creighton does not give preference to NE residents, nor do any other public schools, not even in neighboring states.
