So I just got of the phone with ADCOM at ASDOH because I recieved a top group letter and I was really freaking out about knowing what m chances of acceptance are. She said that so far 38 out of 40 people have accepted the invitations to ASDOH.

I thought they had sent out acceptances to 100 people, that's what someone said at least. Did you find out how many people got a top group letter?

You've got to be kidding me! Although, I have to admit that I am a tad pleased that cliffhanger decided to go to ASDOH as opposed to Marquette to free me up a spot there.

I've also heard that they only sent out 40 acceptance letters in their first round. Hey...that's a good idea for a thread.

Congrats to you! The 4 years I spent at ASDOH were lots of fun, and I'd do it again if I could. It's a wonderful place! 👍

I interviewed post Dec 1st. Dean D said they were hoping to have 30 to 35 positive acceptances. So it is possible to get all 40 spots filled first round (but I do find it hard to believe that could happen....on pre-dents one accepted person has already committed to another school...I'd like to think that more than one person has accepted elsewhere...but then again it could be one of those years!)

And to depress people further I also received a "top group" letter and I know of one other person with a "top group" letter who does not visit SDN. So it looks like it's getting pretty crowded up at the top!😱

Put that number to 40 (assuming the information thus provided in this thread is correct); I've been late in getting my deposit sent. (I figure that if I put my deposit on my credit card after my billing cycle ends in the middle of this month I won't have to pay it off until February. That is $1000 extra in my savings account for two additional months.)

Do you really think all forty accepted..... several people on predents that were accepted to ASDOH have not indicated such and one even indicated that they are attending else where..... I am just hoping that that information is incorrect..... if we can find even one more person that hasn't accepted yet (or hadn't as of the 38 out of 40 post) we will know for sure that it wasn't...
