So for those of you attending ASDOH next year and any current students, where are some of the popular places for students to live? I have looked through the listing offered by their website but just wanted to possibly narrow the search with student input. I would like to live somewhere where other students live but have no idea as to where that is. Any feedback helps....

p.s. places that accept dogs is a must being that my dog will be the only one accompanying me in a move to AZ!

try doing a search on facebook and messaging the students there. There is a nice apartment complex about a mile west of campus and there are many homes avaliable just south of the campus. It's all suburban subdivisions across the street from the school.

Hey! any luck getting advice on living at ASDOH? I will be looking for a roomate, class of 2012?

I havent really gotten any advice. I have been looking around according to their list on the website. On a side note, how do you know school starts July 21? Have you found a calendar somewhere? I have looked and have not found anything

There are TONS of apartment complexes very close to campus, and a lot of students get roommates and rent a house, since housing is so inexpensive out here (at least as compared to California, where I came from).
If it's at all possible, you'd be doing yourself a huge favor by coming out for a weekend to look at some places for yourself, so you know exactly how close to campus it is, and what it looks like before you sign for it. There are a lot of apartments on Baseline, Power, Val Vista, and many other main roads that are close to campus. Just keep in mind that these roads are very long, so make sure you're looking at an address that actually is close to the school. Good luck!

is a good one. There are a few rentals, 2400sq ft around my place...3-4 miles down the road. I live here and work at the school so hit me up with any ?s you might have. I have offered in another post but had no one respond. I also have a schedule you might want to see.

Thanks everyone for the advice but I finally got accepted to my top school in-state and therefore will not be going to ASDOH. Best of luck to you all in AZ!
