Do you want the pictures so you know where to go for your interview or to choose the school based on that? I thought you were excited about getting in at Loma Linda and interviewing at your state school.

No, it's actually a weird situation. My wife found out that she cannot keep her job (in Scottsdale, AZ) if she moves. She initially thought they were going to let her since everything is online. We're already in @ LLU, still have yet to hear back from MS, and I got invited for an interview here at ASDOH on December 17th. At that time, I was in MS waiting for my interview there. But, as I said...we didn't know she was going to be let go from her work if she moved at that point. I kept my options open (at ASDOH) and now I'm so glad I did. I've heard great things about the school...and I never dreamed I would be granted an interview there. I hear it's really hard to get one.

So...since she can keep her job here, and the kids are here as well, I'm sort of tied down to AZ. I love being here, so I really don't mind that much. The only thing that sucks is the tuition difference.

Basically, we're strongly considering staying in AZ because of the job/kid situation. It's very hard to get a job right now and she makes excellent money here.

About the pics...no I'm just wanting to see the school. I interview there this coming Tuesday and was just excited to see it. I have a GPS that gets me there LOL.

In that case, you will see everything you need to see on your interview day. The campus itself consists of 2 buildings, but the clinic is nice.

Ah...yeah mine is in the morning! Oh well. Hey do you think ASDOH will accept a Human Physiology online course from UC Berkeley??? I am going to email them first thing Monday morning. I'm sort of in an odd predicament...but if they will not I will go take it somewhere I guess. I cannot find a course anywhere here in the PHX area. I'm not a fan of online classes, but I really don't have any choice. I guess I just need to see if I get in first though, LOL. Good luck to you anyways!

ASDOH only requires 3 hrs of "Human Physiology" so I'm assuming they do not require the lab (maybe for that reason). I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue. Honestly, I don't see what the big difference would be if the lab isn't required. I emailed the dean at Midwestern when I was filling out secondaries and he sort of persuaded against online classes. I hope that's not the case with ASDOH...

They have some pretty decent options though.

-UC Berkeley offers a 3 hr Human Physiology course
-U of New England offers a more expensive version (4 hrs) that includes a virtual lab

I e mailed ASDOH and verified that I can take any physiology class with 3 credit hours, so I am taking "introductionary physiology" class w/o lab. Chemboy, I think you are fine, but just call them to make sure of it. Are you going to attend ASDOH for the class of 2015?

Where are you taking the class? I'm looking for a place to take the class in the Phoenix area...but I'd sort of like to stay away from ASU. The schedule at ASU will not work for me. if you're in the phoenix area, all of the maricopa community colleges offer anatomy and physiology. if you're an arizona resident, it would be dirt cheap!

i took two semesters of A and P from ASU and it fulfilled the requirement. give them a call and see if you'd need both semesters, or if you can get by with just the first.
