I'm not sure if you take your boards after the first year of school at ASDOH-- it that true? I don't remember if I heard correctly...
ASDOH Question-- Help!

At the interview they said they take them after the first year. The dean indicated one student did not pass last year but subsequently retook it and did fine. The students seemed happy to have the boards out of the way so they could focus on clinical work.

Yes! Boards are after the first year. I am a first year student right now, and we are about to start the Kaplan review. There is a window of time during June and July that we can take the 1st board. I'm telling you..........it will be so nice to get that test out of the way. 2nd year is going to be so much nicer because of that. ASDOH has a pretty high pass rate as well. I think more schools are going to switch to allowing students to take it after the first year.
