Can some applicants and current dental students help me lay out the pros and cons of each school? I'm having a hard time making a decision. Thank you so much!!

Price diff? Go to the cheapest school.

Disclaimer: Current Ds1 @unlv

If price doesn't matter (i.e. Scholarships) then pick school by 3 main priorities (my own opinion):

1. Patient pool, make sure plenty of patients (usually happen when school located in a bad area)

2. Number of post graduate programs: the lesser the better.

3. Distance to family/friends support.

ASDOH has a beautiful and vibrant campus, great job getting into it! from my understanding they value community service a lot, you did well 🙂

I would go to ASDOH!

Thank you guys! I'm from Hawaii, so no matter where I'm going, I'll be a flight away. I am looking for warmth though. I'm mainly deciding between which school will offer me the best clinical experience. I know both are centered around community service, which I love.

Do you feel that most upperclassmen students are getting a lot of clinical experience?

Can people still specialize without research opportunities?

Plenty, not a worry for UNLV.

I would say ASDOH!

the campus is beautiful!

listen to the man's words. Especially starting at 1:49 mark. ASDOH has the right mindset and culture that it set up from the top.
