So I asked both my parents what they would do in the situation:
If they kicked me in the face just once, my first choice medical school (Stanford) would offer me instant acceptance.
And if they didn't, no medical school would ever accept me. Both said no.
Ridiculous question? Maybe. But on a simpler level, it's a question of morals/ethics. They reasoned that nothing is worth humiliating myself even briefly even if it means I can't be a doctor (both of them are docs).
I, on the other hand, would instantly let anyone kick me in the face if it meant I'd be Stanford 2015.
