I took a practice DAT today:

BIO 14!!??
GCHEM 18
OCHEM 21
PAT 22
RC 18
QR 20


The BIO section had 8 questions on Endocrinology and 9 on Ecology. I haven't covered this stuff yet but believe me, I will. I am curious if there is always so much allotted to endo and eco??

I've put in about 30 hours total and take the DAT in 8 days. Suggestions?

Study 12 hours a day for 6 days and hope that you can brush up on the topics you need. During those days take more practice tests and try your best to simulate actual testing conditions. Then on the day before the test take it easya nd get a good night sleep. However, if you dont feel confident that youll do the best that you can PUSH OFF THE TEST!!! Dont take it before your ready!

Seems as though your Bio is kind of weak. I think you should try going through the Kaplan Flash Cards for Bio once a day or so after reading. It really helps hammer in the important points.

Practice tests can only give you an idea IMO. Study bio.

I believe its $25 or so to reschedule, but take it when you feel ready! Try to go over the stuff that your still having trouble in, and best of luck!!
