Hey All,

One of my friends got accepted into both CCOM and AZCOM and is having a tough time deciding between the two.

After searching the forums, the most recent one regarding this topic was from 2007. Seeing as how that's 9 years ago, some of the info from that thread may be outdated/changed.

Soo.... Which one would you choose and why?

P.S. California Resident wanting to specialize

AZCOM could let them do rotations in SoCal but I CCOM is older. Both are expensive. If there is only those two, I would go with CCOM just because. They're technically both the same school but CCOM is still way older. Depending on what they want to specialize in CCOM's OPTI might have the residency they're looking for.

CCOM is the parent institution of azcom and they are both owned by Midwestern. CCOM is the better school so unless location is a big factor CCOM is the better option. If location of az is better then that's the better option.

Chicago winters vs AZ summers?

Mexican food, vs that cassarole they call deep dish pizza.

In all reality, CCOM!

CCOM. Maybe I'm a little biased though because my dads friend who is a cardiologist went there and loved it and is obviously very successful now. I would also add that it has been around much longer and has a superb reputation.

Seeing as both are up the wazoo expensive I would go with CCOM. It has has the better rotations by far I've been told. Plus their OPTI will probably have the specialty they are looking for

CCOM! Come to Illinois! WE HAVE DEEP DISH AND CORRUPTION FOR ALL

Go to CCOM of the two. It's considered the more established school. Also, I absolutely loved my stay at CCOM when I interviewed there. Plus, you can't really beat Chicagoland.
