I graduated in May 2017 and have only kept in contact with 1 professor. The university where I got my Bachelor's is 4 hours from where I live so I really could not keep in contact with other professors. I've emailed the schools I plan on applying to and they all said I'm not considered "non-traditional" so I must fulfill their LOR requirements. While in college I had a good relationship with another science professor and a non-science professor (some schools are requiring 2 science, 1 non-science professor LOR), but I'm worried that since I have not kept up with them that the LOR I get from them (if they agree to write one) will be weak.

As of now I can get:
  • 1 science professor/academic advisor letter (this person was both my advisor and professor at one point)
  • 1-2 DO letters
  • 1-2 MD letters
I took an A&P class last year but did not have any interactions with the professor (got an A in this class). I was thinking of emailing that professor but I doubt I would get one from him if I didn't speak to him (especially since there was about 400 students in the A&P class).

Has anyone had experience or know someone that has had experience with this? If so, how should I go about asking for these LORs?

It’s not that uncommon to just ask for a letter from a professor you got a good grade in but at best it’ll be an average letter and at worst it could look bad if he acts like he doesn’t know you well in it.
