I have been using Kaplan DAT 7th edition (already finish it) and Crack the DAT (half way done) and found that the Crack DAT science is super hard and ridiculous. I heard Crack science is useless to prepare for the real DAT. Now, I felt bad about spending my money to buy the most expensive version of Crack DAT ($400). Those who have tried Crack Science, what are your opinions? Should I stop using the Crack DAT and invest my time on other resources.
I believe MATH, Reading, and especially PAT are relatively pretty good, although I do poorly on angle ranking and pattern folding (so many shading).

I have only about a month left til the real DAT. I already get the Achiever (5 full lengths test) today. If I can make 20+ AA with Achiever, will I be ready with Achiever alone?
I also heard about Topscore and Destroyer; however, I do not have much time left. So yah, let me know your advices. Thank you very much. 😍

Crack DAT science is way too hard and from the questions my friend who bought it ask me they have some errors that are blatant. I'm guessing not too many people buy it thus no one caught said errors. But I have a limited sample of question so I won't speak much to that part. however the consensus among those here is that the science is way too hard.

You should pick up dat destroyer for the science. though I'm not sure with 1 month left if you can dedicate the time to go through it more than once.

since you bought the expensive crack dat package I believe you should get the extra angle ranking. Practice with 2 degree differences. Also try out the extra hole punching too. I know for sure 2 of the "harder" hole punching, I saw from the extra practice. So I shaved few seconds having already seen the folds.

as for achiever, it seems like those who get 20+ on it do very well but since the difficulty of it is high its really hard to place what kind of scores you would be getting on the real thing if you get X score on it. some people see 2-3 point difference, other see huge leaps.

Thank you so much for the reply. Indeed, you are right. I myself caught some errors on test 5 and test 6 on the science portion. At first, I thought is it me or they do not know what they are talking about. Also, now I am both skimming and reading Schaum, looking only for key words. I do consider myself having a strong foundation of science.

As the angle ranking and hole punching, I practice them 20 minutes everyday (10 mins per each). I surprise how much I improve on hole punching although it took me about 8 mins to answer 15 questions, but I end up having around 14-15 corrects. However, angle ranking at 2 degrees to me is impossible. I heard of Hill's technique and laptop technique. I read someone post and still do not know their method for Hill's technique. Laptop technique is ok, but time consuming. Now, I just try to lean back as far as I can, maybe back and forth to see if there are any differences. Still, I cannot get those 2 degrees right.

Hmm, you mention about Destroyer. I am thinking about getting it and spend maybe 24 hours on it. I think I will stop doing Crack science and focus on materials that are productive. Let me know if there is a better path to take leading to my exam.

It took me 3 and 1/2 weeks to go through destroyer gen chem and o. chem twice, and bio once. Will it be enough? I let you know tomorrow....
