Asking for feedback from post-interview R

I have an interview coming up and have been rejected from two programs post-interview. Would it be appropriate for me to email them asking for feedback so I can better prepare for my upcoming interview?

I tried this and the program told me they couldn't offer me feedback or advice until the cycle was over. But you can certainly shoot your shot

They are not going to give you feedback at this juncture--likely not ever. What's more, the interviewer may not know the basis for the ad com's confidential decisions.

It totally depends on the school. Creighton, for example, lets everyone (post II) call the admissions director to get specific feedback. It won't do any harm to ask.
