Idk, from the synposis it sounds like there's decent evidence (whatever a level IV means) for epidural, facet joint and SIJ injections of MSCs but not great evidence for intra-discal procedures. I wonder how far out they followed these patients in most of these studies. Also would be curious to know if there were any studies which compared periodic steroid injections to MSC injections. Now that would be interesting.

level IV is 4th out of 7 levels, means that there was a case control study, but no RCT. would not consider that "decent evidence". just 1 level above expert opinion.
