Cervical fusion surgery. No history of ANY heart or bp issues. My OR reports show bradycardia for 20 mins before reversal with neostigmine/robinul together at same time. I don't see anything in the reports indicating that the bradycardia was being dealt with prior to the reversal meds being given. This was followed by asystole. They can't/won't tell me how long my heart was stopped. They gave more rubinol and chest compression's. They said asystole was a reaction to the reversal meds. That it happens "often". That I have nothing in the future to worry about.

Shouldn't the robinul have been given minutes before the neostigmine because of the bradycardia.

Anyone care to dive into this and let me know what you make of this?
