If at the interview for acceptance into pharmacy school you are asked what type of career you tend to seek through pharmacy school, should you avoid telling them you plan to work retail? I have heard that the pharmacy school wants people to go different routes instead of working hospital or retail.
I was just wondering if that was another crazy rumor.

Tell em that you plan on working retail long enough to establish a chain of pharmacy of your own.. Then you can establish a scholarship at your school to help the students and also an annual endowement to the school to develope clinical education programs...

There is no single correct answer to this question. Be honest with them. Tell them your areas of interest, retail or otherwise. But, also be open to other possibilities, in case you find during your education that an area you have not yet been exposed to captures your interest.
