Hey

Does anyone have any experience with this book? Is it a good book and is it worth it?
- Atlas and Synopsis of Lever's Histopathology of the Skin.

Our dept. has an older version of Lever's Histopathology of the Skin (but alot of the pics are in black and white). Does the newer edition have colour pictures?

Thanks in advance.

Hi! I have the 2007 edition & it served its purpose for me while I was on a DP rotation, but now that I'm going into a DP fellowship I'm focusing on more comprehensive texts. That having said, that photos are pretty good (I'd give it a B) & they are all in color. Some are not in focus, but the vast majority are ...kind of hit or miss. I like the format since it flows well and is easy to read with clinical summaries followed by histopathology. There are both clinical & micro photos. The CD is useful if you want to prepare slide presentations and so forth.

I'm actually selling my copy on Amazon so if you would like to purchase it, just search for it. I'm under "Pathology Girl". Good luck!
