For people that have done the ATS Resident Bootcamp (for incoming PCCM fellows, prior to start of ATS international conference), any specific advice for preparation to maximize the experience?

I've haven't done much pulm/critical care this past academic year (chief resident), so I want to make sure I'm prepared to get the most out of this 2 day workshop.

Thanks!

If you feel that rusty you can re-familiarize yourself with the absolute basics of PFTs and vents for instance, maybe watch a couple videos on some of the procedures like thora and intubation. It's not expected that you have ever touched a bronch before or done a chest tube.

I believe there's some pre-course material you can look at, or may be 'required' to review? I believe there has been a pre-test, also, so may help you identify your strength/weaknesses.

However if you haven't even started fellowship yet (or even if you had), a 2-day course of mostly lectures will only be so informative.
Honestly I would go, enjoy it, and take in as much as you can. The real learning will start when you begin fellowship.

Real travesty ATS is in Dallas this year (after San Diego last year)...j/k
