I recently was offered a late interview at Case but am having a hard time deciding to attend. I already put my deposit in for UNLV which is much closer to home, and looks to be less depressing than Cleveland. My brother (a Case grad) insists that I go because of the superior education and clinical experience. In your opinion is it worth it? Thanks for the help!

Is Case less money? I would say only attend if you have the chance to attend a cheaper school. And yes, they are known for their great clinical education. But think of all you would have to leave behind to go obtain it.

Case is less money, but the difference is only around 10 grand due to getting in state tuition at UNLV after the first year, so its negligible. I think I will just withdraw my application. Thanks for the help!

Your brother is not going to be a happy camper

Your brother is a smart man, I would go to the Case interview, you will soon realize how important your clinical experience will be.

This is kind of like a coincidence because my brother told me to go to UDM four years ago and I didnt listen but I realize now.

If I were you I would go to UNLV. It's a real late interview. A couple of my friends went to Case and they said it was depressing. Yes they do have better clinical, but you are going to be there for FOUR years. At the end, you are going to be a dentist anyway. Do UNLV. I believe Case also has PBL program. I personally enjoy PBL, but you might not. just a thought. good luck!
