Hi all,

I attend has a school with a policy that requires a certain attendance percentage to honor courses in the preclerkship years, in addition to reaching certain academic benchmarks. I'm honestly doing mediocre bc I could be more productive outside of class. I would skip class but I know that my school looks heavily at the number of courses you honor and your STEP 1 score when determining AOA. How important is it, and am I better off just learning stuff on my own? As of now, I'm considering Rad Onc

If these are lecture, and NOT lab or TBL/PBL sessions, what penal colony is this???? You're an adult learner and passive learning is not the best way to learn!!!

I bought a very small bluetooth headphone that looks like a hearing aid so I can study during the required sessions and still get credit for being there. Just a thought. It's a $20 purchase on amazon that might solve your problem for you haha

Thank you guys for the responses! Honestly, I personally felt like I was ineffectively studying while sitting in the back of the class.
