*As I pause current lecture...*

Title says it all. I was super attentive when school first started but as the year progresses, I can only focus for 10-15 min at a time. I absolutely love what I'm learning but I'm checking out probably more than I should haha.

How do you guys stay focused long enough?

No, that's quite normal and I do just fine. DWAI. If you want coffee helps with mood and will make your PERCEIVED endurance higher kind of like IcyHot and knee pads may make your squat max seem larger than it is but make sure you drink it 9 hrs before bedtime and drink it all within an hour (dentist says it gets more acidic over time).

You and the American public, alas.

If 10-15 mins is your limit, then so be it. Better to take timed breaks than simply stare at the screen and zone out. If you can limit the time you take for your breaks, then I think that you can maximize your watching time.

Also suggest visiting your school's learning or education center. They'll have more strategies to help.

And don't underestimate the power of exercise in helping you with all this.

Bout to say, try going for a jog. I find I can focus a lot better after I get some of that energy out. Only works with cardio for some reason though. After strength training, I found my focus becomes worse for some reason, too swole and not enough blood going to the brain maybe?

same.

But monday I am going to start working out which should help this! (I have been saying this every weekend since school started still haven't got in the gym):smack:

I notice the same thing. Running for the mood, lift for the aesthetics.

Practice. Usually that "need to do something else" passes if you just fight through it. Little tips like putting your phone away from you, closing everything else, etc. help as well. Also, putting time limits on yourself or putting little goals like "want to have this task done by this time so i can do this" have helped me.

Mind over matter. Thanks.

I dont know, I hate school so much. During a lecture (or these days during rounds or some other such presentation) I usually find myself wishing I was playing video games.
