Just curious if anyone has purchased the audio digest package. I get a certain CME fund each year and don't plan on taking a CME trip this year (having a second baby instead). Figured if the audio files are any good then getting a 'free' ipad will be a nice bonus.

Has anyone used this? What do you think about the content?

THANKS!

Pretty decent. Will keep you up to date and refreshes old knowledge. Feels like going to Grand Rounds during residency.

Been doing them for 3 years. Would not use anything else. Get lots of variety in topics and they store all of your credits. I do them when I am stuck on call on the weekends. In my state you to keep your license you need a specific number of credits in HIV, child abuse and one other I can't remember and audiodigest will give you those for free. I store all of the written summaries for reference and I could not be happier

Thanks! I went ahead and purchased it.

It's not "free" - you pay for a 3 year subscription and get the ipad included. I get a CME fund at work that will not pay for any electronics however, b/c it's included in the bundle (you are actually buying the subscription, it just happens to come loaded on an ipad), they will pay.

Yeah, its expensive - $1300 (but a year of audio digest is $300).

I got my best buy gift certificate in 2 days and have my ipad in my hand.

Once I listen to a few of the programs, I'll post back my experience.

From the website: YES! I want to order the Audio-Digest MyChoice Online Education subscription with access to 56 programs, worth up to 112 CME credits, and I will receive a $500 Apple® Gift Card at no charge, with my payment of $1,347.

Since I don't have a CME budget to burn, I'll pass on this. I'm definitely not an audio learner anyways.

Review - I like the audio files. Would recommend to anyone with a CME fund and nothing to spend it on 😉
