Auditing a class

How does that look to adcoms if the class had absolutely nothing to do with dentistry? Would they assume that you are just trying to be lazy, or take shortcuts?

Of course not! We don't only take classes related to Dentistry. Don't you have a bachelors to complete? 50% of my classes are not related to Dentistry and I'm a bio major lol!

I'm not concerned about the related vs unrelated to dentistry deal. It's more about the auditing vs taking for a grade deal. I will be a grad student and I can audit courses either for remedial purposes (say I didn't have a certain undergrad level prereq done), or if I am just interested in sitting in on the course without the obligation of completing assignments or exams.

I haven't audited a course, but if I was you I would call some schools and ask.

Edit: but I think that 1-2 audits shouldn't hurt.
