Hey all, I'm finishing up my 3rd year of rotations and was wondering when i should schedule my audition rotations for. My school only allows 3 rotations in a specific specialty, so what is the best time to schedule these rotations?

Earlier in the year (July, Aug, September). Be up front about your interest in the field and program.

If it is an audition rotation....work hard and make a good impression!

I agree with above, if you are planning on getting a letter of rec from that place, do it early so you have time for them to come in. I did mine July, Aug, Sep, and it seemed to work out. Some others have said do one closer to the interview season so you are fresh in their minds when they are ranking.
