First off, this site is really helpful, I'm glad i've come across it. I have my own question which I couldn't find the answer to in any previous post.
I took my MCAT last year (27, 3.63gpa) but I know im going to do much better this time around because im doing lots of problems as opposed to no problems the last time around. I know that applying with August mcat grades is very late, but what if I apply now, using my previous mcat score, and check the box saying that i'll also be taking the august mcat, so please hold on.
Will they completely ignore my application until maybe october or so, or will they actually take a look at it and reject me outright if they think the old score is too low? like send it to the bottom of a pile? im going to apply regardless but I just wanted some opinions so I can seriously start applying to a masters program in the mean time for 2005. thanks
