August MCAT/ lower tier schools

Hi Fellow M.D's:
IF i take the august mcat and apply in june, what are my chances if my gpa is not so high but is between3.0-3.4 (non-science major) from getting any secondaries or interviews?

also I was wondering which are the "safety"schools in the u.s that are not that competitive compared to the others?

Depends on the school You apply to and what they are looking for that particular year. There is no such thing as a safety school. Most schools give secondaries unless you apply to a UC they screen.
