August MCAT takers and secondaries

All the people that are taking the mcat in august:

Are you guys doing the secondaries right now and submitting them or are you waiting until right after the mcat to write the essays and submit the secondaries?

I am studying for the mcat in august and don't have time and the energy to sit down and right essays for these secondaries. So, right after the mcat, persisely august 17th, I will be writing the essays and submitting those damn 2ndaries within a few days of that.

Last year I did them as they came in. The day after the MCAT I personally did not feel like doing anything and was far too drained to sit and write 3 dozen essays. Seriously - do these things one at a time as they come in and they will not get away from you. Allow them to collect into a huge pile and it will be a nightmare come true.

Last year working on secondaries AFTER the aug mcats worked for me. 🙂

It is just that I feel drained doing practice tests and so don't feel like scrambling my brain to write essays for the secondaries. Although I should start doing those secondaries that don't require essays.

You're ok....just focus on the mcat right now. I didn't work on any secondaries until after the mcat. As long as you get them in and have your files complete at each school before the aug mcat scores come out in october you will be fine.
