August MCAT'ers with UCSF 2dary?

Anyone know if UCSF has gotten to us August MCAT takers yet? I was hoping for at least a secondary by now. Or a rejection if it came to that.

I'm not sure what UCSF's deal is. They sent me their secondary before I had even gotten my scores back. When I called to ask what the deal was, they said they "projected" MCAT scores for you based on your GPA and undergrad institution and sent out secondaries based on those. So they didn't wait for August scores to come in to send out secondaries, at least not in all cases. On the other hand, lots of folks have gotten rejections already, so maybe no news is good news. Sorry I don't have anything more helpful. 🙁

I talked to them better than a week ago and they said, "the scores are in the building". Maybe by now they paired scores w/ files and we'll hear something soon. I, like you, have heard nothing.

I got their secondary the same week I got my Aug. MCAT scores (the secondary was postmarked Oct. 18)and I had never taken the MCAT before so they had no "old" scores to go off of. I also got an e-mail from UCSF last week asking if I had released my Aug. scores b/c they did not receive my Aug. scores along with the rest. I totally freaked (I did release my scores) and e-mailed AMCAS, thinking they had "done it again"... and an hour later I got another e-mail stating UCSF did have my scores and the first e-mail was a mistake.

So, to answer your ?, yes they do have scores, and yes they are sending out secondaries (and interview invites) to Aug. MCATers

I got the rejection today from them. I was an August MCATer with scores above their average, but I'm out of state, guess thats how it goes.
