Hi all,
So I will be making college choice in a month time and it comes down to these 3 schools. I am in a dilemma since all 3 have comparable premed program (correct me if I'm wrong please). Can everyone give me some advice, especially if you already had experience being in the premed program of these universities, can you kindly give me some insights? Particularly, I would really appreciate some info about research opportunities, professor- student interaction, strength of premed program, etc.
Som additional information:
1. After deduction from merit scholarship, the cost of all 3 schools are comparable (25ish k per year)
2. I have not heard my federal aid results but after some google searches, it seems that Austin College gives the most aid among the 3 schools (once again, correct me if I'm wrong). My family also has very modest income.
3. I read on other threads on studentdoctor that it is hard to find volunteering and shadowing opportunities in Waco and Sherman, is this true?
4. I have a full-ride scholarship to UT at Arlington but not sure about the strength of their premed program.
Thank you so much! All opinions are appreciated!
