Hey guys, just wondering if theres a place to look for available positions after SOAP from last yrs match?

Im having a hard time switching out of my specialty and am uncertain what options I really have.

After SOAP? SOAP was 10 months ago. Whatever wasn't filled has been by now.

One advice to the desperate I've heard is to look at programs that haven't filled before because sometimes that means they have a history of not filling, and that that might make them good targets for next year's app. How true that is or how good a strat I don't know, I'm not saying, merely reporting potentially why a student may think that such a list might be useful to them.

I'm assuming the OP is asking in preparation for this year. If that;s the case, it's not too late to consider participating in SOAP this year. There will be many more positions in SOAP than afterwards. Just register with the NRMP, create an ERAS application, and plan to participate in SOAP. You'll also want to take the Monday - Wednesday of match week as vacation if possible.

The final list is released at the end of SOAP by the NRMP. It's all on the data page of the NRMP website.
