I’m looking to apply to med score next cycle but I feel that I have a week application
I am a URM (AA male) who is from Tennessee currently attending a state school
My cgpa is a 3.70 and a 3.65 sgpa
MCAT 506
I have about 150 hours volunteering at a clinic
Non-clinical I have about ~100 volunteering at a soup kitchen and about ~50 doing volunteer work with my church
ECs include intramural sports, one in which we won the flag football championship, I’m apart of the Chemistry club, pre-professional health society, and a the Global Learning Opportunities community which is another club at my uni
Relevant honors include deans list and academic scholarships
Research none

List:
Etsu
UT memphis
Meharry
University of Alabama
University of Arkansas
UNC chapel hill
University of Louisville
UK Lexington
Those are the ones I’ve came up with so far, can you guys help me with other MD and some DO schools. Also I have thought about Caribbean schools and some EU schools (since my girlfriend is from the EU) would I be competitive for those schools too? And I realize that going to Europe would make it hard for me to get matched in the US but I would be fine living in the EU.

No, don't go to the Caribbean. I don't think you can do medical school in the EU that easily unless you are considering something like Atlantic Bridge and go to Ireland... but I don't know about your ability to work in the US.

State residency and major? Any academic enrichment programs? How about networking with students attending schools that are high on your wish list? Networking with AMSA or SNMA?

I haven’t really looked at any as I WAS supposed to go to Spain to study spanish this summer... but for EU I was looking at SGUL at Nicosia since it seems like a good program and I absolutely love Cyprus (my gf is a Cypriot living there). Why not Caribbean like Ross or SGUL? Would I be able to get into those schools with my stats? Also how likely would I be accepted into a US MD or DO program? My major is Chemistry and I live in TN.

What do you think my chances of getting accepted to at least one of these schools is?

These are suggestions where your chances are probably the strongest if you have a great application that fits their expectations of a desirable applicant. You could blow your chances with a bad interview or failure to send in a secondary within a reasonable amount of time. Do your homework to minimize your potential errors and missteps.

URM AA applicants with your stats have a 90% chance for a MD acceptance according to the GPA-MCAT grid.
But does my lack of clinical hours and volunteer service make it an especially Weak application?
