I am seriously freaking out. Im getting 15-16 on the bootcamp PAT practice exams and I need 17 to meet my school's requirment.

What were yall's averages on bootcamp exams compared to real thing, especially for this section?

I was getting 18-20s and got a 19 on the real thing. Some people get 1-2 points higher... it's on par for others. Keep practicing! You've got this.

I've seen you posting a lot and I doubt telling you to push back the DAT and practice more is going to help.
I generally don't like saying how practice scores mirror the actual but because you seem distraught I'll let you know that the real DAT is significantly easier than bootcamp. (But don't be surprised if it is still challenging)
I scored 4 points higher than my average. Most people tend to score around the same or a bit higher. I don't see many who do worse but it definitely can happen. My advice is to practice more and push back if needed. PAT scores are more often than not a product of the amount of time you put into practice tests and generators etc.

Top-front end was AMAZING on Bootcamp because of the generators. They let you rotate the answer in 3D. Really great for learning. Pattern folding was always a wreck for me. Easier on the test than on Bootcamp. I was upset about biology so it was reflected in my perceptual score- although objectively, I think I was prepared. Pattern folding was FAR easier on the real DAT for me. It was a wreck on Bootcamp. On the real thing, just look for unique shapes and try to match stuff. It's far less evident on Bootcamp what to do. Just try to improve... Use generators every night and try not to stress about it.

Keyholes are... keyholes. It's such trite advice, but just try to visualize it. You get better with practice. No person is amazing when they start out. Again... use generators. Then pace yourself with real tests. I agree with @BYU4you. The real thing is way easier than Bootcamp. Just try not to freak out during it like I did lol
