what is the duration required to study one block consisting of 46 questions of UWORLD ? I mean to solve the questions then read the explanation for every question and taking notes for things that I dont know

2 hour and half in tutor systemic mode for me

If you're annotating extensively it will take you 5 hours (1 hour to solve the block, 4 hours to read the explanation and annotate).
Even without annotating it will take at least 2-3 hours to read the explanation.
Every question needs between 5 to 10 minutes of reading.
UW explanations are real gold so you do need to read them carefully, don't just skim through them.
Make sure you understand WHY is every choice not the answer in this case and when it would be an appropriate answer.

This post is pure gold. In looking back at the advice 50+ kids who broke 260, they all said that unless you are rushed, it should take you at least 4 hours to thoroughly go through a Uworld Block. Excellent advice.

I voted 7 hours. Took me 6-8 hours to go through 50 questions (two blocks of 25) and thoroughly read the explanations and annotate them into FA.

I think you can do this in half the time and still make the most of UWorld, but I was just pedantic.

Different strokes for different folks. 2.5 hours here.

2-3 hours. I thoroughly read stuff I got wrong or guessed on, and skimmed stuff I was certain about.

You will probably go a little faster as you get toward the end of your q bank, but 4+ hr for certain. This is the primary way and most efficient way I learned the material.
