Hi everyone,
I am currently a junior undergrad majoring in biomedical engineering. I took my MCAT this summer and achieved a 31S (not as high as my average - 35). Also my gpa is 3.97 and my science gpa is 3.99. I also am involved with MRI research, volunteer frequently at the hospital, volunteer at elderly home, and am a chair in an organization. Etc...

I was wondering if you guys think 1) if I should retake my mcat to get into better schools,
And 2) what you think my chances are to get into the average to upper level med schools (I.e state schools) more specifically schools in Ohio.

Thanks for the help.

with a 31 and that GPA...you are looking at mid-low range schools depending on your EC's. Remember, 33 is the new 30.

31 is a good score, but if you're really confident about getting a better then go for it (since you mentioned your average was 35).
I think you have a great chance for acceptance in Ohio though.
