Like title says. What are your guys' strategies for reducing these sorts of mistakes? Specifically, if a question stem gives you hints that point to either of two answers (if you are down to 50/50). Something in the stem points you to A, but a few other pieces point to B. How do you make the correct call?

If I'm truly 50/50 and have the time I'll go through and count how many things in the question point me to each answer, and choose the answer with the most things.
