Away elective in NYC

Hi,

I'm interested in doing an away elective in NYC so that I may visit a friend out there. My friend lives in Manhattan, mid-town, and I would like to find a program that is near this part of town or accessible by the T. For those from the NYC area or are familiar with programs in the area, could you please give me suggestions of not-so-intensive programs to check out? I'm not interested in doing my psych residency here, but just would like a laid-back month so I can visit a friend and enjoy the city. Thanks.

the T? where are you from?
try beth israel, st vincents, st luke's-roosevelt, mt sinai are probably your best bets ... but you could try anywhere in manhattan really. i mean, the island is only 12 mi x 3 mi and the subway goes everywhere.
