Keep on seeing a similar trend so thought I'd chime in. If looking for a cheap place to stay try www.rotatingroom.com. Med students can post their apts for sublets and find med students to stay with. Plus the price listed can always be knocked down...or you can even do a house swap. Works for both away rotations or just simply looking for a place to stay during residency interviews.
