So far I have only done GS full lengths (2 to be exact.) My scores are absolutely horrific. Now I know the verbal is crap on GS, but some old threads said that "most people score 1-2 points above their GS section scores." Does this still hold for the most part, given the recent changes in the MCAT? It's really concerning, I'm getting 8-9 with an occasional 10 if I'm lucky.

LOL i was worried about this too.

I took GS 2-5 two weeks ago (Like a 26 average). I went over my mistakes, and switched to AAMC. Currently averaging 32. So I would say they are harder. The science is just brutal!

Awful feeling, but I do think they help get some of the kinks out. It's not so much the difficulty.... it's the curves!

Which leads me to a new question... would it be best to use them all up first since they aren't as realistic, or intersperse them between BR and AAMC's in order to get a more realistic assessment of where I stand?

Scoring an average of 2 points higher per test section on the AAMC test is quite typical.

I would use them all first before moving to the better exams.

You should be using the aamc's last. I personally think that switching between exam types is deleterious.
