Hi, I have an interview coming up at AZCOM, I was hoping anyone who has interviewed there, especially this year could give me some advice about the interview.

What type of questions do they ask, I am sure they will ask why osteopathic medicine but what others?

Is the interview closed file or open, is it one on one or a panel?

Thanks

try the interview feedbacks on this site....i think it was very helpful....i interviewed there...it was no sweat...really nice people.

I interviewed there yesterday. They have about 15 interviewees and they seperate you into two groups one group gets the tour while the other interviews and then they swap. Each group is seperated further into A,B,C group which determines which interviewers you get. Everyone at the school is extremely nice, the interviews are pretty low key, and the facilities are great. You are interviewed by three people, a med student, a faculty member, and a faculty D.O. or M.D. They really go out of their way to make you feel relaxed. As the earlier poster suggested look at the interview feedback section as most of the questions they ask are there. Also, ignore the stress level numbers as all 15 interviewees on my day said that they were very low stress and very nice. We were able to talk with the dean of admissions for at least .5 hours after the day ended, he answered all of our questions and was very easy to talk to. The medical students on campus had very little negatives to say and all were very glad they chose AZCOM.

Good Luck,
Study up on the school the philosophy and get as much information you can, and you'll do fine. I would suggest going the day before your interview and getting a brochure and catalog from the staff to read before hand, and they remembered me when I got there for my interview ( which can't be a bad thing.)

Hope this helps .
